

i2E was created in 1997 in response to the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology’s (OCAST) initiative to establish a center to support technology commercialization.

OCAST is a small, high-impact agency funded by state appropriations and governed by a board of directors with members from both the private and public sector and has proven to be an invaluable partner in the areas of software development and innovation management. OCAST works in partnership with the private sector, higher education, CareerTech and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
